It’s only the second week in January and it already feels like time is flying by. Please forgive the late notice for this event.
Tomorrow (January 8th) is the First Wednesday Art Talks at 1 p.m. in the Council Chambers at San Rafael City Hall (1400 Fifth Avenue). Gretchen Turner, Docent, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, will host the Art Talk: I am Not Myself – Masks and Masquerades.
If you’ve never been to one the monthly Art Talks, here are a few tips:
- The Art Talks are informative, fun and entertaining.
- Parking is very limited at San Rafael City Hall. There is a parking lot a few blocks away and if you’re lucky street parking. They do have a great system for assisted living or senior center busses to drop off passengers near the entrance.
- Art Talks are free but donations are appreciated.
Upcoming Art Talks are February 5, 2014 Artful Animals based on the Legion of Honor exhibit and March 5, 2014 Modern Nature: Georgia O’Keeffe and Lake George based on the upcoming De Young Museum exhibit.
Enjoy! And, I promise to post event notices much earlier next time.
