Where to Have Thanksgiving “Lunch” in Marin

Thanksgiving Meal

Thanksgiving is a time for family gatherings, which can include older parents and relatives.  It’s not always easy to know where they might want to dine (if you are eating out like we will) or more practically what restaurants they can safely access if they use a cane or walker.

I’ve found a great selection of restaurants in Marin to choose from.  To view the menu for each restaurant, just click on the restaurant name for each heading.  Hope this info helps you plan!

Il Fornaio

Il Fornaio will be serving an Italian prix fixe menu with three different entrée choices: roast turkey, baked hickory smoked ham or mixed seafood grill (including salmon, calamari, scallops and tiger prawns).  And, if you love butternut squash, like I do, you’ll be happy to know that they will serve this delicious fall vegetable two ways… in a soup with russet potatoes and in ravioli with crispy sage and brown butter.  My mouth is watering as I type.  The restaurant is spacious and has booth seating available which many seniors enjoy.

Prix Fixe Price: $39 per adult

223 Town Center in Corte Madera

Parking: plenty of parking and four handicap spaces

Left Bank Brasserie

The Left Bank is a charming Parisian-style brasserie.  There’s a fireplace in the dining room, which is a nice touch for a cozy Thanksgiving gathering.  The restaurant will serve a prix fixe menu with three entrée options: roast turkey, smoked rack of pork or autumn risotto.

Prix Fixe Price: $41.75 per adult

507 Magnolia Avenue in Larkspur

Parking: Street parking is available with one handicap space.  There is also a parking lot across the street, which has one handicap space.

Murray Circle

Murray Circle is the fine dining restaurant at Cavallo Point Lodge.  The restaurant is elegant and has a special occasion feel.  They will serve a four-course prix fixe menu with entrée options of: turkey, beef loin or pumpkin agnolotti (ravioli).

Prix Fixe: $90 per adult

601 Murray Circle in Sausalito

Parking: valet parking

Salito’s Crab House & Prime Rib

Fun and unconventional for Thanksgiving since the restaurant has a vacation beach vibe.  If the weather remains warm, like it was today, it could be beautiful to sit outside and soak in the sun and sea air.  In addition to their full daily menu, which is delicious, Salito’s will serve a prix fixe traditional Thanksgiving turkey meal.  There’s something for everyone at Salito’s.

Prix Fixe Price: $34.95 per adult

1200 Bridgeway in Sausalito

Parking: plenty of parking and three very large handicap parking spaces in front of the restaurant

Tavern at Lark Creek

This charming restaurant is in a Victorian house nestled below towering Redwood trees.  Diners have a choice of four entrées: turkey, butternut squash ravioli, pork tenderloin or filet mignon.  The Point Reyes Blue Cheese Souffle (one of their signature dishes) is an option for the second course.

Prix Fixe Price: $65 per adult

234 Magnolia Avenue in Larkspur

Parking: valet parking with a flat stone walkway to the restaurant

Brick & Bottle

Brick & Bottle will open at 1PM and serve a buffet.  The carving station will include turkey, ham and prime rib.  They will also serve vegan options and salmon for pescatarians.

Buffet: $45 per adult

55 Tamal Vista in Corte Madera

Parking: Brick & Bottle is located in the Marketplace shopping center.  With the stores closed for Thanksgiving, parking should be easy and there are 2 handicap parking spaces steps from the restaurant.

Happy planning!  I’d love your feedback on my list and any additional restaurants you know of.

    Love this !

    1. Thanks so much Kate. I’m going to add new restaurant reviews in the future. I know there are other people who juggle finding restaurants with good food and easy access.

  2. Thanks for the mention Janet! We really appreciate it 🙂 We also have Thanksgiving Dinner to-go as well!

    1. Thank for mentioning that Brick & Bottle has Thanksgiving Dinner to go. Take out is a great option, especially for some people who have a hard time going out to dine.
